ELEY shooter Jingjing Zhang took home the Gold medal in the Women’s 25m Pistol final, after a fiercely fought out battle between the medalling positions. In the second competition stage for the Bronze medal Renata Tobai Sike and Yong Suk Jo went head to head. Jo took an early lead scoring five on her first round and continued to keep the pressure on her opponent. Just as it looked like the battle was over for the Bronze medal between the finalists, Tobai had a problem on the firing point and was unable to take a shot. As the Jury went to look at her pistol, the audience held their breath and under immense pressure Tobai took the shot which kept her in the race. She finally, after six rounds, took the Bronze medal from Jo. After this exciting competition stage, Jingjing Zhang and Jangmi Kim lined up for the Gold medal match. The finals hall was filled with anticipation and many audience members cheered when points were scored and when shots were missed! Zhang remained cool and calm throughout the whole of the final and her consistency and accuracy paid off after just four rounds when she took the Gold medal using ELEY tenex. Many congratulations to Zhang on winning the Gold Medal.
