Background

Jamie grew up in Pennsylvania with her parents and older brother. She had an interest in athletics from a very young age, and started playing softball and soccer at the age of five, basketball at age six and BB gun at age eight. Jamie continued on with all of these sports until the age of 15, and then began shooting international rifle and continued playing soccer all year round.

It was not until Jamie's senior year in high school that she decided she wanted to continue on in shooting and attend a University in the sport. Jamie attended the University of Alaska Fairbanks and their nationally renowned rifle team. She then lived at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado for four years where she could continue her shooting career.

Jamie is currently living in the Fort Benning, Georgia area where she has the privilege to train with the United States Army Marksmanship Unit.

With a BA in Psychology and a minor in Math from the University of Alaska Fairbanks, Jamie got married to Hank Gray, a United States Army Marksmanship Unit shooter on September 5, 2011. Her older brother Mike competed in rifle shooting until his sophomore year of college, and her mother Karen and father Rod, are both retired in Pennsylvania and are greatly involved in the Palmyra Sportsman’s Club. Jamie's in-laws have a shotgun business, Gray’s Shotgun Cache, where they travel around the country to different shotgun events selling shotguns.

Did you know?

With a love of most sports, Jamie particularly enjoys cycling, running, tennis, racquetball, swimming, golf and indoor rock climbing.
Jamie is the assistant coach for the Columbus State University Rifle Team.

Which ELEY product do you shoot ?

Eley Tenex .22.

Why do you shoot ELEY ?

ELEY has become one of the best smallbore ammunition manufacturers and I have had great success with ELEY Tenex. The USA National team is also well supported by ELEY and their products.
